New hairstyle ideas for school?

I have brown hair that's about medium length right now. I like straightening my hair, but I've cut back to only doing it about twice a week because it gets dry easily and I don't want it to become brittle. I usually wear my hair up in a ponytail, but that gets boring way to fast. Any new ideas? I was thinking maybe making my hair wavy or new ways to put it up or something like that. Thanks! :)

you do this by after wetting it you put in some moose, gel, wax or wateva product works best for you and then take a section of your hair and put the bottom of your hair on your palm and scrunch it up to the top like your scrunching up paper. then do the next section and so on and so forth.

it will give you a curly and wavey look without your hair looking out of control and it can be done really quickly

you can also then put your hair up and make it a messy pony tail and then pin your hair up to make a messy bun. it looks classy when done right

First you can put Gel in your hair and then scrunch it when it is damp. and blow dry it while you are scrunching still. This makes it wavey and it looks really good. It will form nice waves.

I would also suggest getting short layers. It looks so good with medium length hair. If you get layers around your ears and tease it, it gives style. to tease it, all you have to do is hold a stand of hair up, and with a comb, brush DOWN and UP, and repeat many times. Then let go and it should stick up high. play with it to create your own style.
