I like layers because I can create more styles with it than same length hair.

My hair kinda fits your description...it's long and wavy...but sometimes straight. I like my layers because even if I don't do anything to my hair, it still looks like I did. I like the way layers look too when hair is up in a ponytail or down and flat ironed or curled.

A lot of time ago I liked wavy and curly hair. But now I think it depends from the person. But I prefer straight hair, because they are shiny, and curly or wavy hair can't be as much shiny as straight

Well... I think that layers would look nice but to cut your hair straight may be better because later on when you will want to straight your hair from the layer, it won't look right. By the way, it depends on your face. If you have wide or chubby face, then long layers would go right on you, but if you have small face then cut straight your hair.
