Hair straightening help!!?!?!? PLEASE!?

ok i've been reading forums and reviews...and some people say this is a great product and others say it will cause balding. now im only 14 years old. and i've been straightening my hair w/ straightners since i was 12 and right now i have the ultra chi. it gives great results, but it takes me about 2 hours to straighten. and next year i'll be in highschool so i want to cut down time for my hair.

i came across something called easystraight. i heard horror stories but sometimes it has to do w/ not following directions or if your hair is too fine.

mine is thick, curly, frizzy, and medium length

if i try it i will deffinetely do i test patch first and see what happens after a week before doing my whole head

i just really don't want to lose ALL my hair!

so anyone out there done this? what do you reccomend? will it work on my hair? any other solutions?

Hair straightening help!!?!?!? PLEASE!?

You kind of sound like me.I have you're kind of hair.Except that it takes me about an hour. What I do to cut the time is that I straighten my hair once a week. You might say "Eww what about washing my hair.Well what you need to do is find a really good shampoo, and conditioner.I use Nexus that's a really good cleanser. An even a better one is Head and Shoulders. That one is good so you don't get any dandruff. So wash your hair on a monday (or whenever) and straighten it.Then don't wash it until the next monday. You can take a shower just put a bag over your hair so you don't wet it.It keep your hair from getting less damaged. And clean. Please I beg you do not get a Conair. They are the worst.Your Chi is fine but it will damage your hair no matter what.Make sure that you have heat protectents!!TreSemme is good!Go look at Sallys the have good Heat Tamers too.

Use the CONAIR non-heat straightner( so u dont have to plug it in or anything.) and a blow dryer.

don't use it if u have hair that is under stress

I use this blow dryer I bought at Walmart. It blow dries your hair in a straight line. It's a little easier then blowing it straight with a brush, and better for your hair then straighteners..

When I use it I let my hair air dry a little, then put a little product into it. Then go to town w/the hair dryer. It gives decent results. The brand I have is Videl Sasson.

Oh, and embrace your curls. You'll learn to love then as you get older. Trust me. When I was your age I hated them too.

stick with the chi.. best on the market, and its ceramic and if it's working for you then keep using itl..

WOW 2 hours to straighten ur hair.. thats insanity it sounds like your hair isn't meant to be straight haha but seriously, a lot of products like the one you are talking about, are market very VERY well and are catered to people like you who are looking for a miracle of a solution, but i guarantee it won't be miraculous, there's no way it's gonna be better than the chi so don't buy it!
